Broccoli Mushroom Bake
Saute in a skillet:
2 Tbsp. olive oil
1 onion chopped
5 to 6 broccoli florets and peeled stems
2 cups sliced mushrooms sliced
Cover and steam for 2 minutes.
Make a WHITE SAUCE. Melt in a small saucepan:
1/4 cup butter
Whisk in:
1/4 cup flour
Gradually whisk in, cooking over medium heat until thick:
2 cups milk
In an 8 x 8 buttered pan,
place the vegetables, cover with sauce and top with:
1-cup bread crumbs
1/2 cup Parmesan
Bake at 350 for 30 minutes |
