Red
Cabbage
This
vegetable can be shredded and used raw in cold slaw and also
adds great colour to any lettuce salad. Or try it cooked in the
following:
Sauté
for 5 minutes over medium heat:
3 Tbsp. olive oil
1 small red cabbage shredded
3 green apples cored and chopped
Add,
cover and simmer for 20 minutes:
3 Tbsp. cider vinegar
1/3 water
2 bay leaves
1/4 tsp. cloves
Serve
warm.
