Pesto
Blend together
in a blender:
1/4 cup oil
1/4 cup pine nuts
Gradually
add and blend:
1 bunch basil
1/4 cup parsley
1/4 cup pine nuts or organic walnuts
1/4 cup grated Parmesan or soy Parmesan
Work into
a smooth paste adding water to facilitate the process. Serve
on pasta, broiled tomatoes sandwiches. Freeze for that fresh
basil taste mid winter.
