Apple Flambe
Core
and slice:
2 apples
In a skillet over medium heat melt:
2 Tbsp. Butter
2 Tbsp cane or brown sugar
Add the apples and stir.
Squeeze over mixture:
1 Tbsp Lemon juice
Add and stir in:
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
Cover and keep it very warm.
Warm in saucepan:
1 oz Brandy, cognac or dark rum
Sprinkle on fruit and cover for a minute. Uncover and quickly
set alight! Serve over vanilla ice cream.
Will feed 4 as topping.
