Apple Sauce

Peel and slice: 8 apples

Add to above: 2/3 cup water
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 cup brown sugar or to taste
1 tsp. cinnamon
dash of nutmeg and cloves

Cook on medium heat until soft. Serve warm for desert or try the following:

Creamy Apple Mousse

Mix together:
1/2 cup whip cream, whipped
1/2 cup minced nutmeats or coconut
2 1/2 cups apple sauce (cold)
